Create 'n Make are delighted to be an Arts Award Supporter, helping young people work towards their Art Awards qualifications in the visual arts. We offer a number of ways in supporting young people to help them complete their awards. We can offer support at all levels from Discover to Gold award qualifications from primary school children up to A-Level Students. Listed below are the different areas of the Arts Award programmes we can help with.


Discover the arts - opportunity to explore different art forms including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and textiles to create artworks

Find out - discover through books, the internet and visiting artists

Share - arrange for children to share and talk about their art discoveries in the classroom or school assemblies


Inspire - take part in range of art activities; drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and textiles using a range of different materials

Explore - work with schools to suggest museums, artists and art organisations to visit

Create - attend a series of different workshops using a range of art techniques and materials

Present - support the students in presenting their work, this could take the form of formal display or a show and tell session


Art Skills Share - opportunities to help run an after-school club session or holiday workshop


Arts Leadership - opportunities to share your skills by leading an after-school club session or holiday workshop


The Wider Arts Sector - opportunities to volunteer or work placement at after-school clubs or holiday workshops

Arts Project Leadership - Research, plan and run a workshop or after-school club session
